Something big is coming to Hillsdale—and you won't want to miss it. This April, Hillsdale College's iconic campus becomes the site of a three-day red, white, and blue celebration unlike anything our community has seen. From live entertainment and interactive history exhibits to family activities and a petting zoo, this is a hometown celebration worthy of America's 250th birthday.

Whether you're bringing the whole family or flying solo, there's something for everyone across all three days. The museum and all entertainment is free to all attendees—our gift to the Hillsdale community. Food trucks will be available for individual purchase.

The Freedom Truck is a mobile museum unlike anything you've ever seen—a massive, fully immersive experience that is traveling to cities and towns across the United States in 2026 to celebrate America's 250th birthday.

Step inside and travel through 250 years of American history. Sign the Declaration of Independence. Crack one of George Washington's spy codes. Discover the everyday Americans and extraordinary heroes who built this nation from a vast wilderness into 50 United States.

Six Freedom Trucks are touring the country in 2026—and HILLSDALE is one of the national stops.
